About the film

Adem, a failed photographer, takes over his late father’s bakery. He tries to meet the demand for his father’s famous baklava yet he fails. He makes another recipe from his father’s notebook which turns out to be a success.

CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT

Tell a story

After the second meeting with client, I got to know that the director used his father’s photo in an important scene in the film. Therefore, I decided to add this photo on the poster.

Promotional materials for social media, including IMDb, Instagram, and Facebook.

Illustration on photography.

Use drawing to represent the dream, and photography as reality. Mixing them together as a hint of the solution of the main character and duality in the film.

Use script typeface to create the fun feeling, together with the san-serif typeface to indicate the duality.

Use warm tone in the poster to indicate the heart-warming story and reflect the general warm atmosphere of the film.
